Dear HPC users,
the registrations for the HPC training courses in the upcoming summer semester are now open.
New! In cooperation with our guest speaker Christian Meesters from JGU Mainz, we proudly present the workshop Building HPC-Compliant Snakemake Data Analysis Workflows on October 28-29, 2025. Registration is open for everybody interested (members of Uni Bonn and non-members alike) at https://indico.hiskp.uni-bonn.de/event/1079/.

Register by joining the eCampus page.
IMPORTANT: In ALL eCampus courses, you MUST join one of the groups to attend, just joining the event is not enough. That is because most courses are held multiple times, or additional dates may be added depending on the demand.

All Uni Bonn members are welcome to attend, even if they are not HPC users. Feel free to forward this e-mail to your colleagues.
Interested but can't make any of the course dates? Or your preferred group is full? Join the eCampus course anyway! You will be notified when we schedule more courses, and often places free up later.
Tip: We have scheduled the Python and the Git course in the same week, as they go well together. The Linux course, cluster intro course and Raspberry Pi cluster course are likewise scheduled together.
Note that the above courses will also be part of the "Doctorate plus" graduate program, or otherwise be eligible for credit. We will provide participation certificates for all participants. We do not make the decision of eligiblity however, and cannot guarantee credit.
Looking for the machine learning course? There will be one as well (in March), we will notify you separately when registrations are open.
Best regards
Your HPC Team
