Introduction to Programming with Python

Are you completely new to programming, or switching to Python from another language?

Do you want to write scientific code with Python?

Then this course is for you!

The HPC Team of the HRZ at Uni Bonn invites you to our new online course

Introduction to Programming with Python

The course will take place from January 11-12, 2023, from 16:30-20:00 on both days. It will be held online via Zoom. It will be held in English.

Registration happens via eCampus. Simply click this link and join the course.

Note: The maximum number of participants is 12. If more people register, we will organize a repeat course.

Target Audience and Prerequisites

This course is intended for people who start doing scientific computing with Python, particularly on HPC clusters, but not limited to those.

You do not need to have any prior programming experience.

We will provide you with an online environment to write and run your Python code. If you have a Python development environment set up, you can use that instead, but please make sure it is running ahead of the course.
