DESCRIPTION:In this course\, you will learn about the following topics:\n\
 n- Using the command line\n- The ideas behind concepts like users\, files\
 , processes and permissions\n- Navigating the Linux directory structure\n-
  Handling text and other files from the console\n- The vim text editor\n- 
 A brief introduction automating tasks with shell scripting\n\nAlthough thi
 s course is open to everyone\, it is primarily geared towards cluster user
 s. That means that neither Graphical User Interfaces nor topics that requi
 re root access (e.g. installation\, administration) are covered. All topic
 s covered are distro-independent.\n\nNo prior knowledge is necessary. It i
 s also not necessary to have cluster access beforehand.\n\nRegistration ha
 ppens via eCampus. The course may be held more than once\, depending on pr
 esenter availability and number of registrations.\n\nIMPORTANT: after regi
 stering\, you MUST JOIN ONE OF THE GROUPS (currently there is only one).
