 se it but do not understand what is actually going on? This course is for 
 you!\n\nTopics:\n- Background\n- Setting up git\n- Creating Repositories\n
 - Tracking Changes\n- Exploring the History\n- Ignoring Things\n- Remotes\
 n- Collaborating\n- Conflicts\n- Licensing and Open Science Considerations
 \n\nTip for developers: This course goes together well with our Python int
 roduction course\, and we have scheduled them in the same week.\n\nThe cou
 rse is open to all students and employees of Uni Bonn free of charge. Basi
 c experience with the Linux console is recommended (see our Linux tutorial
 ). Bender access is not necessary.\n\nThe course will be held at least twi
 ce. Additional course dates may be scheduled depending on the number of re
 gistrations.\n\nRegistration happens via eCampus. Simply join this course 
 like any other eCampus course.\n\nIMPORTANT: You must join one of the grou
 ps to attend!
