DESCRIPTION:In this course\, you will learn about the following topics:\n\
 n- Using the command line\n- The ideas behind concepts like users\, files\
 , processes and permissions\n- Linux directory structure\n- Handling text 
 and other files from the console\n- The vim text editor\n- A brief introdu
 ction automating tasks with shell scripting\n\nAlthough this course is ope
 n to everyone\, it is primarily geared towards cluster users. That means t
 hat neither Graphical User Interfaces nor topics that require root access 
 (e.g. installation\, administration) are covered. All topics covered are d
 istro-independent.\n\nThis course will be held at least twice: on November
  25-26\, and on February 10-11. Additional course dates may be scheduled b
 ased on the number of registrations.\n\nRegistration happens via eCampus. 
 The course may be held more than once\, depending on presenter availabilit
 y and number of registrations.\n\nIMPORTANT: after registering\, you MUST 
 JOIN ONE OF THE GROUPS.
